This is a list with foundation day of all Indian state with establishment year. As we all know at the time of independence the India was divided in the different small provinces and that was the challenge to rule and form a new government. So at that time leaders of Independent India divided it in different states according to the States Reorganisation Act, 1956, at that time many small provinces collectively converted to a State for example Madhya Bharat, Vindhya Pradesh, and Bhopal State merged and a new State Formed ” Madhya Pradesh”.

After 1956 many new state were formed and the newest one is Telangana that formed on 2 Jun, 2014. The area of Telangana state is about 114,840 sq KM and Official languages are Tamil and Urdu. The capital of Telangana is Hyderabad.
