Hiroshi Koizumi, Hollywood Actor passes away on 31 may 2015 following pneumonia. He was 88 year old. He made debut in 1951 silver screen  and also appeared in a string of films including Mothra vs Godzilla, Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster and Dogara, the Space Monster. In 1955, Koizumi appeared as a pilot in movie Godzilla Raids Again.

Wrestler Prem Nath , who won gold at 1974 christchurch commonwealth games  passes away on 1 june 2015. He was 64 survived by his wife, two sons and daughter. He clinched 57 kg common wealth games title in New Zealand.  He also got arjuna award in 1972.

American Sprinter Justin Gatlin become the fastest man in the history of Rome Diamond League in 100 m discipline having broken the track record held by Usain Bolt of Jamaica. He finished the 100 m race at the Rome Diamond League in record 9.75 sec held in Rome, Italy on 4th june 2015. Bolt finished the race in 9.76 sec in 2012.

French open Tennis : Serena Williams (America) wins her 3rd French open title beating Lucie Safarova. It was her 20th grand slam title.
