Common Admission Test (CAT) Schedule of Examination:
The candidate scores on the bases of Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability (VA) and Reading Comprehension (RC), Data Interpretation (DI) and Logical Reasoning (LR). The total duration of the test will be 180 minutes. Candidates will have exactly 60 minutes for answering the questions in each section and they will not be allowed to switch the section from one to another.
Common Admission Test (CAT) Paper I Exam Pattern:
- Total questions: 100
- Number of sections: 3
- Questions with negative marking (MCQs): 70 to 75
- Questions without negative marking (Non-MCQs): 25 to 30
- Score awarded for each correct answer: 3 marks
- Negative marking (Applicable for wrong answers in MCQs): -1 mark
