UPSC Civil Services Pre Application Form

The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) will start UPSC IAS 2019 Online Registration, on upsc.gov.in. The candidates will be notified through the official notification about the availability of the application form. The application form will be available from the first (1st) week of Feb 2019. Bachelor Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India.

For IFS (Indian Foreign Service)

UPSC Civil Services Pre IAS Selection Procedure:

The Indian Administrative Service (IAS) process happening in three stages. The First stage is Prelim Examination (Objective type questions) then second is Mains Examination (Written) and the last one is Interview (Personality Test).

Prelims Examination:

Objective type questions.
4 hour time.
Multiple choice questions of 200 Marks.
Subject Including General Awareness, English Language, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning etc.
There will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

Mains Examination:

Candidates who qualifying prelim exam they can be eligible for Mains Exam (Written).
The mains round consists of written exam which is followed by Personality Test.
When candidate clear in written exam they will be appointed as Civil Servants.
Main Exam involves Written Exam and Personality test.

UPSC Civil Services Pre General Guidance of Candidates:

The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment prohibited.
Candidates seeking reservation/ relaxation benefits available for SC/ST/ OBC/Persons with Benchmark Disability/Ex-servicemen.
Photo and Signature should be in jgp file type.
The minimum size of photo is 3kb and the Maximum is 40kb and the signature should be in 1kb.
