PSU (Public Sector Undertaking):-Basically, the PSUs are the units which are owned by Government or we can say that there are major stocks of Government in a PSU. These types of Units are called Public Sectors because these are not owned by a single Entity.
- The Authorities of any Public Sector is appointed by GoI
- Any PSU can be open or shut down at any time by the Government of India.
- At any time, government is free to disinvestment in a PSU to make Some Earnings.
- Disinvestment is a process in which Government of India sells the stocks of a Public Sector undertaking to arrange some fund or to invest in other fields.
